As part of our “people-focused” culture, Summit proudly donates 10% of annual income to it’s Charitable Foundation which benefits a number of non-profit organizations around the world including:
Providing customers with the right loan at a fair price while treating them like family is just part of a bigger picture. It’s not just the foundation Summit was built on, but it’s the right thing to do. So is taking an active role in the community to help make a better tomorrow. For as much as Bob & Diana Carter have an entrepreneurial spirit, they have an even bigger philanthropic heart.
In fact, Summit Mortgage sets aside 10% percent of its pre-tax earnings for charitable donations. In addition, Diana Carter is on the board of trustees of the St. Cloud University Foundation, the school’s fund-raising arm. Bob Carter is a founding member of the Innovative Mortgage Origination Council in Washington D.C., the national association that helps government and business leaders understand how residential mortgage markets work.
The reach of Summit’s charitable arm isn’t limited to just donations. To work in the communities, we feel we have to serve in the communities. Many of our Loan Officers hold key positions, donate countless hours and support local non-profit organizations in their communities. Some have even started their own non-profit programs and events to raise funds for local causes. From Toys for Tots to raising Canine Companion service dogs, at Summit Mortgage, we are very proud of the efforts our employees give to make a better tomorrow.
